Get Halcyon Seed first
Find an Altar of Gold and pay its gold cost. Finish the teleporter event, then take the Gold Portal to Gilded Coast.
Activate the seven Halcyon Beacons. The fourth summons Aurelionite; all seven must be active before you can damage it. Save enough gold to activate them in quick succession and kill it during the damage window. If the shield returns, you must pay to activate the beacons again. Pick up Halcyon Seed and confirm it is in your inventory.
Follow the Path of the Colossus
With Seekers of the Storm enabled, entering Gilded Coast from normal stages 1-3 can offer a green portal to the Path of the Colossus. The entry conditions matter; not every visit to the coast has the same exit.
You can also find a Halcyon Shrine on normal stages 1-3. Activate it, let it absorb enough gold, interact again when it can be stopped, and kill the Gilded Halcyonite to open the green portal. On the Path itself, a shrine portal can become gold, offering a detour for the seed before returning to the route.
Continue through the green-portal route to Prime Meridian. Climb the floating stones and avoid lightning. Interact with an Aurelionite Geode and enter its area when you need to clear debuffs and gain barrier.
Complete Purified Freedom
Carry the seed into the fight and defeat False Son. In phase three, he takes the seed and summons a hostile Aurelionite. You do not need to kill that Aurelionite for the unlock: defeat False Son.
Confirm Purified Freedom. Offering an item to the Shrine of Rebirth is not required for this character unlock.
Since October 8, 2026, the first-stage Halcyon Shrine appears in about 50% of runs. If it is absent, keep progressing and look for a later entry.
