Survivor unlock requirements
Use the table to find a survivor, its expansion, and the challenge to complete.

Acolyte: finish the revival
With Hallowed Concepts enabled, activate a Shrine of Descent, finish the teleporter event, and enter its Ritual Portal. In Soulbound Threshold, start the boss rush at the console and defeat Anima Harvester. Before leaving, interact with Acolyte on the floor beside the exit and give an available item to revive her. Keep a Medkit ready for the handoff.
The challenge is A Broken Ritual. The separate door challenge, Acolyte: Memento Mori, comes after unlocking the survivor.
Heretic is a transformation
Hold all four Heresy items in the same run: Visions of Heresy, Hooks of Heresy, Strides of Heresy, and Essence of Heresy. Together they transform your survivor into Heretic. Access to the four items involves Blockade Breaker.
This transformation does not add a permanent Heretic selection to a fresh run. For the other survivors, check the completed challenge and the next run’s survivor-selection screen.
