Open the Gold Portal
Find an Altar of Gold, which is distinct from an ordinary Shrine of Chance. Pay the altar’s gold cost, then complete the stage’s teleporter event. Enter the Gold Portal before using the normal teleporter to change stages.
Altars appear randomly, so a gold route depends on finding one. A Lunar Seer in the Bazaar can sometimes offer Gilded Coast, but it is not a guaranteed alternative.
Defeat Aurelionite at Gilded Coast
Collect enough gold for the seven Halcyon Beacons. The fourth activated beacon summons Aurelionite, but you need all seven active before you can damage it.
Activate the beacons in quick succession and defeat the boss in the damage window. If the shield resets, pay to activate the beacons again. Pick up Halcyon Seed, confirm it is in your inventory, and use the exit.
Opening only four beacons leaves you fighting an invulnerable boss. Paying the altar and then leaving the original stage also misses the route.
Continue toward False Son
With Seekers of the Storm enabled, entering Gilded Coast from normal stages 1-3 can give a green portal to the Path of the Colossus. The original entry conditions matter; do not plan around every visit having an identical green exit.
Halcyon Seed is required for the False Son character-unlock route. Keep it intact instead of casually converting or spending it.
