Explore without retracing your route
Look for chests and the teleporter as you move through each stage. Floating orange particles can help you spot the teleporter from a distance. Connect your exploration into a route rather than repeatedly crossing already looted ground.
Use enemy kills and the stage’s resources to pick up items. Balance damage with movement and recovery. Passive items stay in your inventory; most survivors hold one active equipment item at a time. Read lunar item trade-offs before buying them.
Complete the teleporter event
- Activate the teleporter when you are ready for the boss.
- Defeat the teleporter boss and fill the charge meter. In a solo run, charging stops while you are outside the red zone.
- Move out to dodge dangerous attacks, then return to charge. Staying alive matters more than standing still for the meter.
- Collect the drops and enter any special portal you want to use before activating the normal teleporter to leave.
Choose the moon or another loop
At the fifth environment, Sky Meadow or Helminth Hatchery, interact with the outer ring of the Primordial Teleporter before starting the event:

To finish the ordinary moon route, defeat Mithrix and complete the escape. Killing the boss alone is not the full escape objective. To keep collecting items, choose the planet alignment and continue the loop. Obliterating at the Obelisk is a separate ending route.
The October 8, 2026 free update added optional Karma, which increases the challenge on the moon. You can turn it off in the survivor-selection screen before starting a run.
